CLINICAL TRIAL SUMMARY

Double-blinded study of 93 Osteoarthritis (OA) sufferers, who have been diagnosed with OA for an average of 6 years.

52 men and 41 women - ages 37 - 77

60 day treatment period, with CM complex

CM Complex Half - 6 CMC capsules daily

Placebo half - 6 vegetable oil capsules daily

A total of 153 affected joints in this population

139 had painful swelling

100 had stiffness associated with degrees of deformity

25 included some soft tissue involvement

Clinical assessment in 3 visits - day 0, day 30, day 60

	This test measured how many feet the patient could walk in 15 minutes. Dramatic improvement in the average walking distance of CM group patients

CONCLUSIONS

These patients experiences an overall increase in:

	Their knee range of motion
	Their ability to traverse stairs
	Their ability to walk a further distance in a given period of time

This trial demonstrates the effectiveness of CM to improve functional independence in Osteoarthritis sufferers - improving their daily quality of life.
